“The Chief” is an old CrossFit classic. A fast paced triplet with a weighlifting and two simple gymnastics components. Moving quickly, efficiently, and with full range of motion is key.
For 5 cycles:
AMRAP in 3 minutes of:
3 Power cleans (135/95#)
9 Air squats
Rest 1 minute between each cycle
For each cycle repeat the AMRAP.
Also, my old friend Peez power cleans slo-mo.
While her form is not absolutely perfect, she does a great job at staying patient over her knees and then exploding with her arms still extended.
